When will I receive my headphones?

We’ll send out your free headphones at the same time we send your modem. Our deliveries take place Monday to Friday and generally arrive within 5 working days.
Can I choose the colour of the headphones I’ll get?

Due to our limited stock, you won’t be able to choose which colour of headphones you’ll get.
Can I exchange my headphones for something else?

The free headphones you’ll receive with your Skinny Broadband modem are not exchangeable.
How long does it take to charge the battery?

A full charge takes about 3 hours, but if you are in a hurry just 10 minutes of charging will get you a full 60 minutes of playback.
How do I know if the headphones will fit me?

The headphones come with 3 earbud size options - Small, Medium and Large.

What do I do if my free headphones don’t work?
Make sure you've got got them set up and paired with your device. Pairing your headphones can be a bit different depending on what device you are using.
If you're still having trouble get in touch with us and we'll fill you in on the next steps for assessment and replacement. We'll need to know your name, email, phone number, date of purchase and the nature of the problem.

Returns Policy

As a consumer customer you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“CGA”) and Skinny will honour its legal obligations to you. If you would like to make a claim under the CGA, Skinny asks that you follow the below steps to return your Sony WI-C200 Headphones to Skinny for CGA assessment and replacement:

Visit our Contact Us page and fill out the form. We will need you to provide the following information:
- Name
- Address
- Email address and phone number
- Date of purchase
- Nature of the problem
Your contact details and the nature of the problem will be passed on to our nominated repair agent at Sony New Zealand.
Following receipt of the information, a Sony agent will assess your CGA claim and will be in touch to guide you through the troubleshooting and/or replacement process:
- If it is determined that you have a valid claim under the CGA then your device will either be replaced, depending on the nature of the defect in your device.
- If it is determined that you do not have a valid claim under the CGA and your claim is rejected, we will contact you to discuss next steps.
