• How do I activate my endless Data weekends?

  You can activate anytime from 5pm Friday till midnight Sunday. First, make sure you have the latest version of your Skinny mobile App. If you're already on an eligible $16 or above plan, head over to the data binge section of the app. Then, click on the 'Endless Data Weekend' button and click activate to start your Endless data session for the rest of that weekend. Once activated, the session will expire on Sunday midnight.

• Do I have to activate Endless Data Weekends every weekend?

  We’ve made Endless Data Weekends flexibly and best suited for whenever you need this. If you don’t want to worry about data running out every weekend then you’ll need to activate your Endless Data Weekend every weekend that you’ll need it. That way, as soon as you finish your free 2GB of max speed data, you’ll then be on Endless data at reduced speeds for the rest of that weekend.

• What happens to my rollover or normal plan data in the weekend?

  You get free mobile data every weekend on us, which means you save your normal plan data for the rest of the month! Once you finish your free 2GB of bonus data and haven’t activated Endless Data Weekend through the app, then you’ll fall back onto your normal plan data. It's totally up to you!

• So what data will be used first?

  Every weekend, your free 2GB of bonus data will be used first. If you have already activated your Endless Data Weekend before the 2GB bonus finishes, then you’ll fall onto Endless data at reduced speeds for the rest of that weekend. If you haven’t activated Endless Data Weekend, then you’ll start using your regular plan data for the rest of that weekend.

• Why can’t you guys just keep Endless Data Weekends all year around?

  We are trying to make the Summer/Xmas period special which is why we come up with these awesome deals! To continue to do this, it would not only defeat the purpose of these promotions, but it would also mean that we’d be broke by Easter!

• Why should I use Endless Data Weekends?

  Enjoy data freedom on weekends without using any of your own data. All on us! Your free 2GB data will be at max speeds which means you can carry on with higher quality streaming and downloads. If you’ve already activated Endless Data Weekend through your app before your free 2GB data finishes that weekend, then endless data at reduced speeds of 1.2Mbps will kick in. You’ll still be able to use data like before but may experience lower video resolution when streaming, or reduced speeds when scrolling and sharing.

• What happens if I use up my free 2GB of bonus data, but want more max speed data instead of endless data?

  If you haven’t activated Endless Data through your app, you’ll fall back on your regular plan data (which could be rollover data or max speed data depending on what plan you are on). If you have already activated Endless Data but still need more max speed, you would need to do what you would normally do if your plan ran out of data. Just grab yourself one of our Add-Ons like Data Binge, starting from 50 cents.

• Can I hotspot my Endless Data Weekend?

  Absolutely. Both your free 2GB at max speeds, and Endless data at reduced speeds are able to be used for hot spotting – isn’t that awesome?

• What if I’m already on Endless data, do I still get the free 2GB every weekend?

  Yes, if you’re already on endless data, that means you’ll still get your free 2GB max speed data every weekend, but you won’t have access to the Endless Data Weekends add-on since you’re already using endless data at reduced speeds.

• What if I’m already an Endless plan customer with max speed data left, do I still get access to the Endless Data Weekends add-on?

  Yes, if you have max speed data remaining on your Endless plan, then you’ll get access to the free Endless Data Weekends add-on so you can save your own max speed data for later. However, if you are already on endless data as your normal allocation, then you'll only receive your free 2GB of data every weekend before your plan renews.

• Why didn't I get any free data this weekend?

  It’s possible that your current plan might not be eligible or that you haven’t renewed your plan in time. Make sure you’re on a $16 or above mobile plan and keep renewing to get Endless Data Weekends. If you’re still having issues, get in touch with us at 0800 4 SKINNY.

• Does the free 2GB data rollover?

  Nope, this awesome promotion is only available for use on the weekends! People tend to use most of the data on the weekends anyway so it's available at the right time for you.

• How will I see what data I'm currently using on my app?

  Your free 2GB of bonus data will show on your app dashboard. Once you activate Endless Data Weekend, then your Endless Data at reduced speeds will also show on your app dashboard with a timer indicating the amount of time left until that weekend finishes. Remember, your free endless data only kicks in once you finish your free 2GB bonus.

• Am I eligible for Endless Data Weekends?

  The eligible mobile plans are Skinny’s 28-day rollover $16 and $26 plans, 28-day Endless $36, $46, and $70 plans, and the $20 Endless Weekly plan. The following are not eligible mobile plans: $9 plan, $5 weekly plan, and standard rates users.
