Your phone will automatically retrieve the internet settings for connecting to mobile data from your Skinny SIM card.

Follow these steps to learn how to manually set up mobile internet.

Step 1:

From the home screen, drag the bar up to the edge of the screen.

Step 2:

Tap Settings.

Step 3:

Tap Network and Internet.

Step 4:

Tap Data usage.

Step 5:

If Mobile data is disabled, enable Mobile data and tap the back symbol.

Step 6:

If Mobile data is enabled, tap the back symbol.

Step 7:

Tap Mobile network.

Step 8:

Tap a SIM card, in this case, SIM (1).

Step 9:

Tap Advanced.

Step 10:

Tap Access point names.

Step 11:

Tap the plus symbol.

Step 12:

Under Name, enter Skinny Data

Under APN, enter wapaccess.co.nz

Under Proxy, leave blank.

Under Port, leave blank.

Under Username, leave blank.

Under Password, leave blank.

Step 13:

Under MCC, enter 530

Under MNC, enter 05

Under Authentication type, tick PAP.

Tap APN type.

Step 14:

Enter default,supl (note: in lower case) and tap OK.

Step 15:

Tap the options symbol.

Step 16:

Tap Save.

Step 17:

Tick Skinny Data.

You will now be able to connect to the internet using your mobile data.
