Follow these steps to learn how to send an SMS message from your phone.

Step 1:

From the home screen, swipe up on the screen.

Step 2:

Tap Messages.

Step 3:

Tap Start chat.

Step 4:

Under To, enter a phone number or, enter the first letter of the contact.

Step 5:

Tap a contact from the list of suggestions.

Step 6:

Tap Text message and enter a message.

Step 7:

Tap the send symbol.

The message will be sent.
