Experiencing issues with your Samsung phone? Try a soft reset to see if it helps. With a soft reset, the operating system is rebooted and all services are reloaded. This does not impact your personal data, files and apps.
To reboot your device, press and hold the power button and the volume down button on the side of your device until the screen turns off.
Your device will automatically reboot.
If you are asked to enter your PIN, enter your PIN code and tap OK.
Swipe up to unlock your device.
Your device has been rebooted. If the problem persists, try a factory reset to solve the problem. With a factory reset, the device is reset to its original factory settings.
Note: Factory resetting your phone will delete all of your apps, settings and data – including contacts and photos.
