Unlock Phone

If your phone has been set up to only work with a Skinny SIM card, and you want to use it with another network’s SIM card, you will need to obtain an unlock code from us. An unlock fee may apply:

• If your phone has been used on the Skinny network for less than 9 months, an unlock fee is payable to obtain the unique unlock code.
• If your phone has been used on the Skinny network for 9 months or more, it’'s free to unlock your phone but you will still need to obtain the unique unlock code.

The unlock fee is usually $30 unless otherwise stated

You can get the unlock code by logging into your online account and select 'Phone, SIM & Number' under Dashboard or use this link

All you have to do is give us a call at 204 or 0800 475 4669 (we'll ask you to pay the $30 fee if it applies) and get the unique unlock code for your device.

Here's how to unlock some of our phones:

• Huawei U2800
• Huawei U8652
• Nokia C2-01
• Nokia X3-02(i)
• Sony Ericsson

When you input the unique unlock code, take extra care as you only have a limited number of chances to get it right.

If you enter an incorrect code too many times your phone will lock for ALL networks.
