To connect the iPhone to a Bluetooth device such as a headset, a laptop, or a car stereo, you will need to enable Bluetooth and search for the device to connect with.

In some cases, a PIN code is required to connect to a device. See the instruction manual of the Bluetooth device you want to pair with (default codes are often set to 0000 or 1234).

Step 1:

On your device, tap Settings.

Step 2:

Tap Bluetooth.

Step 3:

Enable Bluetooth.

Step 4:

Place the device you want to pair your iPhone with in discovery mode and wait for it to appear on your iPhone. If you don't see it or aren't sure how to make it discoverable, check the instructions that came with your Bluetooth device or contact the manufacturer.

Step 5:

To pair, tap your Bluetooth device name when it appears onscreen.

If you connected with a laptop or another mobile device, files can be sent over Bluetooth.
