When abroad, you can access mobile internet by enabling data roaming. This allows you to use mobile internet on your phone through a local network.

Follow these steps to learn how to enable or disable data roaming.

Step 1:

Go to the Start screen. Drag the bar up to the edge of the screen.

Step 2:

Tap Settings.

Step 3:

Tap Network and Internet.

Step 4:

Tap Mobile network.

Step 5:

Disable Roaming.

Data roaming has been disabled.

Your phone will now stop automatically connecting to foreign networks abroad. To enable data roaming again, undo the previous steps.
